Distributed renewable energy in Colombia
نویسندگان
چکیده
Colombia has prioritised the use of renewable energy to expand and improve electricity services for its population in zones non-interconnected national grid. Recent policies regulations have supported this ambition with successive measures strengthen investment conditions distributed energy, like standalone solar photovoltaic (PV) solutions hybrid PV mini-grids. Still, market is relatively immature, reflected by high costs connecting new users. New business financing models will be critical bringing down cost technologies, accessing private equity debt larger volumes, ultimately progressing towards replacing existing inefficient polluting diesel generation systems. Building on international experiences, paper discusses approaches strengthening conditions, looking at support mechanisms de-risking instruments used elsewhere, which can help bridge gap Colombia.

Economic Growth and Renewable Energy in Iran
Energy plays an active role in sustainable development in Iran, both in the sustainable and the development aspects. This study aims to estimate the nexus of economic growth and the renewable energy in Iran during 1981-2012. We employ the Auto-Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to estimate a log-linear equation. The results suggest that renewable energy consumption is an insignificant driv...
متن کاملUnbalanced Active Distribution Analysis with Renewable Distributed Energy Resources
This paper presents unbalanced active distribution system analysis with renewable distributed Energy Resources (DER). The renewable DER models have been considered are photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine generation (WTG). The three-phase distribution load flow on the basis of the symmetrical components has been used in the analysis. The unbalanced active distribution system has been analized usi...
